Crimson James Cox, 2-day-old son of James Cox and Natalee Wicker of Union City, passed in his parents arms Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
After struggling with low birth weight and heart problems, he passed gently into the arms of Jesus. During his brief visit on earth, Crimson was loved by all who met him and will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy, with Brother John Blackwell officiating.
In addition to his parents, Crimson is survived by a big brother, Silas Hulet; his grandparents, Kenny and Kim Autwell; his grandmother, Crystal Wicker; and his grandfather, Wesley Davis.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Cathy Reynolds.
The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff of Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Brother John and Lois Blackwell, Mt. Pelia Baptist Church, Ralph Norman, White-Ranson Funeral Home and all friends and family for their prayers and support.
