HEADED TO WASHINGTON

HEADED TO WASHINGTON — Every year, the junior classes of Obion County Central, South Fulton and Union City high schools have the opportunity to apply for one of 12 spots on a trip to Washington, D.C., courtesy of the Union City Rotary Club. The selection process has ended and the students selected for the trip set for the summer of 2020 include (front, from left) Jake Lilly of SFHS, Lily Grace Baker of OCCHS, Leah Wisener of UCHS, Racquelle Arnold of UCHS, Emily James of UCHS, Morgan Sutton of OCCHS, Olivia Hill of UCHS, (back) Carter Walton of UCHS, Eli Ervin of UCHS and Eli Cunningham of OCCHS. Imani Peat and Laken Prather, both of UCHS, were also chosen but not pictured. The group will be chaperoned by Kim Taylor, a Union City Elementary School pre-K teacher, and her husband, Thel Taylor, vice principal of UCES.
