EUROPE BOUND — The applications have been submitted and the interviews completed for the rising seniors of Obion County Central, South Fulton and Union City high schools hoping to be selected for trips to either Europe or Washington, D.C., all courtesy of the Union City Rotary Club and the Kirkland Foundation. The group selected for the European adventure for next summer includes (front row, from left) Bryleigh Woodward of OCCHS; Avery Decker of UCHS, Megan Burney of UCHS, Kylie McCadney of UCHS, Libby Wisener of UCHS, (back row) Luke Moses of OCCHS, Dalton Bone of UCHS, Eli Carlisle of SFHS and Taylan Tribble of UCHS. Their tour will include England, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and France, and they will be accompanied by two  chaperones — Jodi Powell, a teacher at UCHS, and her husband, Jeremy, pastor of Crosswind Church in Union City.
