Mrs. Zelmarie Wirt, 73, a former resident of Troy, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at her son’s residence in St. Louis.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Rev. Truitt Cockrell and her son, pastor Rusty Wirt officiating. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery near Troy.
Pallbearers will be Doug Brewer, Don Bailey, Tony Daniel, Randy Worrell, Tim Walker and Mike Clark.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born Jan. 14, 1946, in Troy, daughter of the late Floyd and Martha (Wiles) Huey. She married Joe Ray “Buddy” Wirt on May 9, 1964. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2019.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church No. 2.
She is survived by two sons, Huey Wirt of Martin and Rusty (Sherri) Wirt of St. Louis; a son-in-law, Randall (Jean) Barker of Bristol; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kesia Barker; and a brother, Floyd Huey Jr.
