Jan Butler

Mrs. Jan Marlene Butler, 59, of Obion died Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services were to be held 1 p.m. today at Cryer Funeral Home. The Rev. Archie Larry was to officiate and burial was to follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Pallbearers were to be Mike Terry, Jimmy Terry, Matt Butler, James Butler, Preston Butler and Dustin Dotson. Honorary pallbearers were to be Kendall Salmon, Selby Barker, Chris Warren, Eric Ogden and David Morgan.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born Sept. 28, 1959, in Union City, the daughter of the late Charles Hold and Ida Lou (Riddle) Williams. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Butler of Obion; a son, Darrel and Staci Butler of Obion; a daughter, Christy Leann and Josh Holdeman of Obion; a daughter-in-law, Sabrina and Allan Dotson of Obion; a brother, Gary Holt of South Fulton; three sisters, Sherry Hopper and Betty Blakley, both of Hornbeak, and Christy Pendergrast of Nashville; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents,, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Mark Butler; and a sister, Libby Terry.
