Mrs. Jearline “Jerre” Caudle, 91, of Union City died Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eddie Mallonee and the Rev. Chip Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Keith Douglas, Sam Douglas, Wayne Bailey, Roger Woodward, Henry Inman and Larry Cox.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born on Oct. 3, 1927, in Obion County, daughter of the late Samuel and Johnny (Pounds) Tuck. She married Ben Taylor on May 3, 1946, and he passed away on Jan. 23, 1982. She then married Johnnie Caudle on Sept. 15, 2004, and he passed away June 6, 2018.
She was the owner and operator of Taylor Tax Service for 36 years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City and attended Lake Road Baptist Church.
She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a Pink Lady at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City and a former airplane pilot.
She is survived by two stepdaughters and their spouses, Glenda (Donnie) Morris of Union City and Paula (Jerry) Steele of Obion; a stepson and his spouse, Keith (Susan) Douglas; a niece, Sandra Marlar and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Clifton Taylor and 11 brothers and sisters.
