JUST PASSING THROUGH — Kemp Brown of Union City and his neighbors have had some recent overnight guests. He said these three geese have been hanging out in the neighborhood on East Main Street for several days. Always found near water, Canada Geese are common in wetlands, city ponds, lakes, lawns and grassy fields in Tennessee. According to the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency, Canada Geese are more common nesters in Middle and East Tennessee than in West Tennessee.
