Wilson Lee Fowler, 105, of Cayce, Ky., passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cayce United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Wolfgang will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home and he will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

He was born Oct. 7, 1913, in Wickliffe, Ky., to the late William David and Leona Cosby Fowler.
He was a member of Cayce United Methodist Church and had worked for Armour in Memphis, the former Swift Company in Fulton, Powell Construction in Union City and Roper Pecan Company in Hickman, Ky., and was co-owner of the former Fowler’s Grocery of Cayce.
He was a Kentucky Colonel, an avid fisherman and loved the winters in Florida. He was a great storyteller and was a poetry writer.
He is survived by a daughter, Annell Goodwin of Cayce; five grandchildren, Alan (Kelley) Goodwin of Dyersburg, Derek (Lori) Goodwin of Arrington, Shana (Ricky) Walker of Central City, Ky., Melanie (Greg) Curlin of Fulton and Valerie (Todd) Warren of Murray, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Monette Bynum Fowler; a daughter, Betty Glenn Harrison; and a brother, Ray Fowler.
