Mary Baker

Mary Viola Baker, 79, of Mayfield, Ky., formerly of Obion County, died Sunday morning, June 2, 2019, at the Mills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mayfield.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Hutchison will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery in Mason Hall.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bubba James, Jason Morphis, Kerry Davis, James Oliver, Jeremy Toon and Craig Inman.
She was born June 14, 1939, in Alpine, Miss., to the late DeOliver Hubert and Mary Sue (Hutchison) Davidson. She married Robert Lewis Baker in 1955. He died Jan. 8, 1993.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Toon of Mayfield and Michelle (Craig) Inman of Trenton; one son, James (Minnie) Baker of Union City; five grandchildren, James Oliver, Christy Spry, Brittney Ann Morphis, Michael Rouse and Crystal Pollock; 12 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Marie Webb of Trenton.
She is preceded in death by one son, Robert Earl Baker; and one son-in-law, Jerry Toon.
