Noma Mae Franklin

Noma Mae Franklin, 90, of Union City passed away 4:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Bible Church near Union City. Darrell Hoffman will officiate. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday at the church.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Shane Glisson, George Franklin, Jim Franklin, Wayne Franklin, Larry Gene Davis and Joey Glover.
She was born March 17, 1929, in Hayti, Mo., daughter of the late George Franklin Sr. and the late Media Josephine (Shy) Franklin. She was a member of New Hope Bible Church.
She is survived by four nieces, Patty Smith (Vic) of Union City and their children, Amos Smith of Union City and Charity Smith of Troy; Brenda Minnick (Hershel) of Hornbeak, and Linda Fickle and Georgia Griffin (Jim), all of Tiptonville; five nephews, Wayne Franklin (Barbara) and Jim Franklin, all of Dyersburg, George Franklin of Newbern, John Franklin (Lisa) of Halls and Charlie Franklin (Velvet) of Dyersburg; several great-nieces and nephews; and her special friend, April “Nana” Henderson of Walnut Log.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, George Franklin Jr.
