Ruby McLeary, 97, of Fulton died Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Union City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dr. Doug Norfleet and the Rev. Jim Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Dunn, Christopher McLeary, Jimmy White, Doug Brewer, Ian McLeary and Harold Crittendon.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born on June 9, 1921, in Rutherford, daughter of the late Henry and Lucy (Hester) Wilkes. She married Gerald “Gashouse” McLeary on Aug. 4, 1945. He passed away on Nov. 17, 1991.
She worked as a crossing guard for the Union City School System. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Union City, the United Methodist Women and was a Pink Lady at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. She served on the Union City city council for the remainder of her husband’s term after his death.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Jerry Dunn of Bartlett; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Vicki McLeary of South Fulton and Tommy and Cathy McLeary of Fulton; seven grandchildren, Dawn Leland of Tiptonville, Mikki McLeary South Fulton, Margaret Simmons of South Fulton, Brian Dunn Millington, Sarah White of Memphis, Christopher McLeary of Fancy Farm, Ky., Lisa McIndoo of Sunny Vale, Calif.; and 16 great-grandchildren.
