Neda Campbell

Neda “Jo Jo” Campbell, 83, of Kenton died March 20, 2019, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at White-Ranson Funeral Home. The Rev. Justin Hiens and Greg Campbell will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Alex Hopkins, Ben Hopkins, Addison Yarbro, Don Parks, Zeb Hall and Brandon Neal.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital or American Heart Association.
She was born Jan. 26, 1936, in Trimble to the late Robert and Gladys (Butler) Jackson. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.
A loving mother, she devoted her life to God, her family and working hard to raise her four children. In her retirement, she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Jo Jo loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with a passion and made a point to spend time together. She always wanted a good story about something they had said or done and pictures to see their sweet faces. Jo Jo loved God and shared her faith until the very end of her life with her nurses and doctors.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff (Bobbi) Campbell of Union City and Greg (Debbie) Campbell of Hornbeak; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mitzi (Steve) Hopkins of Union City and Melani (James) Yarbro of Dukedom; nine grandchildren, Ashlee (Zeb) Hall, Allison (Brandon) Neal, Mollie (Jason) Scott, Alex (Lindsey) Hopkins, Ben Hopkins and his fiancée, Ellen Bearden, Stephanie (Moe) Figureoa, Addison (Meagan)Yarbro, Kate Yarbro and Brooke (Don) Parks; 13 great-grandchildren, Wade and Jessie Cate Hall, Jocelynn, Madilynn, Analee and Isaiah Neal, Drake Chism, Kinsley Hopkins, Charlie and Amelia Brooke Parks, Hutson and Hallie Yarbro and Willow Scott; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Nadine Jackson and Norman and Dodie Jackson, all of Kenton, and Tony Jackson of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harvey and her beloved grandmother Parlee Butler; and her parents, Robert and Gladys Jackson.
