Kathryn Gammons
Mrs. Annie Kathryn Gammons, 92, of Troy died Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at Union City Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at White & Mahon Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robin Rotgers and the Rev. John Worrell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Land, Tim Land, Adrian Wright, Cody Dean, Dillon Mathis, Sean Tucker, Josh Eaves, Ashton Eddlemon and T. J. Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be Renne Vanderbeen, Dennette Mitchell, Amanda Dean, Tabitha Eason, Katie Worrell, Lindsey Fowler, Ashley Gammons, Danielle Wright and Tabitha Jonas.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born on Feb. 15, 1927, in Obion County, daughter of the late Holland and Flora (James) Klutts. She married Henry Edward Gammons on April 10, 1943. He passed away on Oct. 21, 2000.
She was a homemaker and a member of Graves Chapel Church of God.
She is survived by four daughters and their spouses, Wanda Joyce King of Union City, Patricia Ann Dean (Lynn Jones) of Troy, Margo (Daniel) Wright Union City and Elly Mathis of Troy; two sons and their spouses, James Edward (Ruby) Gammons of Lake St. Louis, Mo., and Jeff (Lana) Gammons of Troy; 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Edith Annette Ragsdale; and a brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd (Dot) Klutts of Troy.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Annette Olean Tucker; two sons, Robert Joseph Gammons and Michael David Gammons; a great-great-grandson, Knox Matheny and 10 brothers and sisters.
