Tex Henderson

Tex Henderson, 49, of Hornbeak died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, at his home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at White & Mahon Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy. The Rev. Robin Rotgers will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
He was born Nov. 19, 1969, in Cairo, Ill., son of Benny Henderson of Mounds, Ill., and Cheryl (Goskie) Vawter of Garland, Texas. He married Sonja Henderson April 13, 1990. She died Jan. 16, 2018. He married Leigh Ann (Robinson) Bruce Henderson Oct. 6, 2018. She survives.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a quality control manager for Carlstar Group in Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Leigh Ann Henderson of Hornbeak; two daughters, Rachel (Shannon) Matz of Dresden and Rebecca (Zachary) McDaniel of Hornbeak; one stepdaughter, Mallorie (Josh) Schierbaum of Obion; three stepsons, Scott (Becky) Bruce, Shane (Christy) Bruce and Dalton Bruce, all of Dyersburg; nine grandchildren; and 10 brothers and sisters.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sonja Henderson.
