Katherine Caldwell
Mrs. Katherine Ward Caldwell, 98, of the Polk Station community died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at White & Mahon Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joe Thorn officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers and her granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the funeral home.

She was born Dec. 24, 1920, in Troy, daughter of the late Marion and Elsie (Norton) Whitehorn. She married Ralph Caldwell on June 17, 1938. He died on Oct. 23, 1988.
She was a homemaker and loved to cook and sew. She was also a long-time member of Troy United Methodist Church and the Wolverine Club.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gaylon and Patsy Caldwell of Union City and Gerald and Mary Caldwell of Dresden; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Brad Caldwell; a sister, Betty Whitehorn; and a brother, Ray Whitehorn.
