Ben Riley

Benjamin Burkett “Ben” Riley, 79, of Union City passed away 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, at The Waters of Union City.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
He was born Dec. 9, 1938, in New Hebron, Miss., son of the late Edward Monroe Riley Sr. and the late Vera (Burkett) Riley. He married Peggy Gwyn (Taylor) Riley July 30, 1961. She survives.
He was a retired X-ray technician and a very active member of the Mississippi Society of Radiologic Technologists, of which he was a lifetime member.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, woodworking and fishing. He was a devout Christian.
He is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Tiffany Riley of Union City; and two grandchildren, Halle Riley and Hayes Riley, both of Union City.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
