Dickie Freeman

Dickie A. Freeman, 66, of Obion passed away 11:55 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home.
He was born May 26, 1952, in Union City, son of the late Neil Freeman and the late Ann (Sanders) Wiley.
He was a farmer and had been employed at the former Freeman Machinery in Troy. He enjoyed NASCAR and Indy car racing. He had attended the Indianapolis 500 for the past 38 years.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Chase Taylor of Newbern and Heather and Will Harris of Elizabethtown, Ky.; six grandchildren, Dylan Taylor and Raegan Taylor, both of Newbern, and Emma Harris, Michael Harris, Houston Harris and Lincoln Harris, all of Elizabethtown; his stepmother, Lee Freeman of Newbern; his stepfather, John Wiley of the Dixie community; one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Ken Miller of Union City; and three brothers and one sister-in-law, Sammy Freeman of Waverly, Texas, Mikey and June Freeman of Luka, Miss., and Tony Freeman of Welches, Ore.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher Shawn Freeman.
