Doris Marshall

Mrs. Doris Virginia Marshall, 93, of Union City, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Union City.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Zion Cemetery near Obion with Stephen Sutton and Jeff Kenee officiating.
Pallbearers will be Greg Ferguson, Rhett McIntosh, Tim Fox, Kenneth Sanders, Ronnie Price, Sammie Price and Jerry Cheatham.
The family will receive visitors from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
She was born June 20, 1924, in Union City, daughter of the late Joe and Cordie (Ray) Wright. After the death of her mother, she was raised by her stepmother, the late Willo Mae Wright. She married Charles Preston Marshall in 1945. He passed away on Jan. 27, 2000.
She was a beautician for many years and a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ in Union City.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Rogers; and three step-great-grandchildren, Carlie Kendall, Parker Little and Preston Little.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson, John Rogers; and her brother, George Ray Wright.
