Teddy Smith

A memorial visitation with the family will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Martin. Murphy Funeral Home in Martin is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Smith was an electrician at the University of Tennessee at Martin and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He attended both Sharon High School and Westview High School in Martin.
He is survived by his wife, Kari (Pitcher) Smith; his daughter, Kristen (Graylon) Perkins; his son, Dylan Smith; and two granddaughters, Maddie Elizabeth Perkins and Paisyn Wren Perkins, all of Martin. He is also survived by two sisters, Angela Simpson of Kenton and Pam Copan of Vancouver, Canada; and three brothers, Ricky Smith of Nashville, Dennis Smith of Newbern and Randy Smith of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wayne and Linda (Fowler) Smith; and his stepbrother, Corey Smith.
