Margaret McGuire

She was a member of Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Marianne McGuire of Kirkland, Wash., and Johnny and Toni McGuire of Paducah, Ky.; three grandchildren, Shawn McGuire of Spokane, Wash., Beth Brown of Bothell, Wash., and Josh McGuire of Nashville; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Bill Davidson of Mayfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elson McGuire, on April 3, 2011. The couple had married Oct. 6, 1944. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Mildred (Finley) Murphey, and an infant sister and brother.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, with burial to follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Pilot Oak, Ky.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon until the funeral hour.
