Mary Blackley

She was born July 28, 1921, in Memphis, the daughter of the late John and Mary Clough Eaton. Mrs. Blackley was a retired dental receptionist and a member of First United Methodist Church in Obion.  
She is survived by three great-granddaughters and their husbands, Rebekah and Allan Carman of Union City, Stephanie and Kyle Garrett of Norfork, Neb., and Daphne and Jamie Whitehead of Troy; her great-grandson, Michael Hall of San Diego, Calif.; her granddaughter-in-law and her husband, Gayle and Mark Ellegood of Union City; her niece, Janet Burton of Hot Springs, Ark.; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.  
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde L. Blackley in 1998; her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Sue Summers Blackley; two grandsons Steve Blackley and Daryl Blackley; and two brothers, John Eaton and Clough Eaton.  
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion. Friends may call at Cryer Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday. The Rev. Terry English will officiate, with burial to follow in the Hornbeak City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Allan Carman, Kyle Garrett, Michael Hall, Mark Ellegood, Jason Kendall and Brian Wilder.
