Shirley Cunningham
She was born in Dyers-burg Sept. 21, 1935, the daughter of the late Frank and Hazel (Pruitt) Long. Mrs. Cunningham was a retired factory employee for the former Lear-Sieglar plant in Union City and a member of Miston Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Lew Cunningham of Obion; two sons and their wives, Brad and Pam Reynolds of Benton, Ark., and Brian and Stacey Reynolds of Union City; six grandchildren, Josh Hobson of Medina, Corey Hobson of Dyersburg, Ashlee Hiebert of Benton, Ark., Whitney Reynolds of Dyersburg and Blake Simmons and Abigail Simmons, both of Union City; seven great-grandchildren, Brody Hobson of Medina, Jaden Hiebert of Benton, Zayley Hobson, Caylyn Hobson and Vaylee Earp, all of Dyersburg, Lillee Hiebert of Benton and Livia Hobson of Medina; two nieces, Linda Mann of Obion and Mickey McLaughlin of Jackson; and her great-nephew, Trent Mann of Obion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce McLaughlin.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Mount Moriah Cemetery. The Rev. Carmon Dennison will officiate. There will be no public visitation.
Pallbearers will be Josh Hobson, Corey Hobson, Charles Spencer, Larry Sherron, Trent Mann and Jake Hiebert.
