Catherine Neill
A native of Union City and lifelong resident of Knoxville, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Ailene (Pitzer) Todd and was a member of Athens Church of Christ. She was also a member Canasta Club, Woodmen of the World, Omni Club and Newcomers Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph R. Neill; her sister, Nancy Carolyn Todd; and her infant son, Randolph Ted Neill.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Brenda Neill of Athens; her brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Patsy Todd of Union City; her sister and brother-in-law, Almedia Jean and Jimmy Faulkner of Union City; five grandchildren and their spouses, Leslie and Eddie Goldman and Ashley and Matt Derrick, all of Athens, Jami Ricker of Cleveland, Von Ricker of Tellico Plains and Kevin Ricker of Etowah; and seven great-grandchildren, Austin Goldman, Haley Goldman, Joshua Derrick, Ethan Derrick, Olivia Ricker, Jonah Ricker and Braden Ricker.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home in Athens, with the minister, Mark Littleton, officiating. The interment will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa.
