Billy W. Brown

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Jimmy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Ararat Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends from noon until the hour of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bobby O. Brown, Rob Nettles, Hunter Putman, Michael Wilbanks, Mike Chandler, Gary Robertson and Chip Lofton. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Rudd, Charlie Baldridge and Jim Kinkade.
He was born Nov. 12, 1938, in Obion County, son of the late Hubert Hensley and Ruby (Raymer) Brown. He married the former Brenda Fitzpatrick Aug. 18, 1960. She survives. He was a retired hog farmer and had also been employed at the former Reelfoot Packing Co.
He is also survived by two daughters and their husbands, Vicky and Rob Nettles of Union City and Vonda and Gary Robertson of Samburg; his son and his wife, Vince and Leo Brown of Troy; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Lindsay and Patrick Walker of Union City, Cameron Graham of Los Cruces, Mexico, Joey and Nicole Berner of Troy, Brandi and Michael Wilbanks of Union City, Billy Gage Brown and Billy Jacob Brown, both of Troy, and Hunter Putman and his fiancée, Leah Korn, of Dyersburg; five great-grandchildren; his sister and her husband, Betty Sue and Jerry Chandler of Troy; his brother and his wife, Bobby O. and Norma Brown of Troy; and his brother-in-law and his wife, Ricky and Nancy Fitzpatrick of Oklahoma.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley White and Linda Brown; and his granddaughter, Kelly Dawn Berner.
