Betty Maynard

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Steve Carr and James Kinsey officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from noon until the hour of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Brown, Ronnie Brown Jr., Bobby Joe Brown, Mitchell Maynard, Brandon Maynard and Chad Carroll.
She was born Aug. 4, 1935, in Obion County, daughter of the Theo and Mary Elizabeth (Dunn) Brockwell. She married Billy Maynard June 29, 1955. He passed away Aug. 19, 2016.
She was a retired cafeteria worker at South Fulton High School, where she was employed for 13 years, and was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Linda Brown of Union City and Ronnie and Gail Brown of Buchanan; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; her brother, J.T. Brockwell of South Fulton; her sister, Laverne Greenlee of Florida; and her daughter-in-law, Kaye Maynard of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Maynard; two brothers; and three sisters.
