Robert Ellegood

A memorial mass will be held Jan. 7, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father Robert Ponticello will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church Jan. 7 from 9 a.m. until the hour of services.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Sept. 26, 1956, in Union City, son of the late Edward Eugene and Mary Sue (Hogg) Ellegood. He married the former Donna Hammonds in 2004. She passed away April 1, 2012. He had been employed at the former United Cities Gas Co. for 22 years and worked in construction in Nashville after that. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Taylor and Mark Pierce of Samburg; his son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Bethany Ellegood of Union City; his grandson, Reagan Ellegood of Union City; his sister and brother-in-law, Alison and John Ahrens of Humboldt; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Gayle Ellegood of Union City and Eddie and Linda Ellegood of Decatur, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
