Ralph Lamb

He was a retired forklift driver for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Union City, where he worked for 35 years. He had lived all of his life in this area.
Mr. Lamb is survived by his wife, Paula “PJ” Lamb, whom he married April 30, 2005; two children, Claudia (Lamb) (Carl Sprulin Jr.) Spurlin of Clinton, Ky., and Betty Thompson (Allen) Burriss  of Frankfort, Ky.; his mother, Ida Jean (Latta) Lamb of South Fulton; five grandchildren, Isaac Spurlin and Sophia Spurlin, both of Clinton, Ky., Jeremiah Wheatley of Chestnut Glade and Amy Wheatley Stosberg and Matt Burriss, both of Frankfort; two great-grandchildren, Tanner Stosberg and Shelby Stosberg both of Frankfort; his brother, Ed (Debbie) Lamb of Decatur, Ala.; and his niece, Michelle (Edward) Guice, and his great-niece, Gabrelle Guice, all of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lavinia (Lamb) Austill; and his father and his wife, Ralph A. and Cinda (Elliott) Lamb.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in  Fulton, with burial to follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today and anytime after 8 a.m. Wednesday.
