John W. Jackson

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Antioch Cemetery in the Crystal community.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time to leave for the cemetery Saturday at the funeral home.
He was born March 17, 1925, in North Carolina, son of the late Walter Jackson and the late Gertrude Malpass Wilson. He married the former Emma Louise McDaniel Jan. 18, 1950. She died April 3, 2008.
He had been a truck driver for the former Reelfoot Packing Co. and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by four daughters, Elaine Northam, Nancy Hatt and Johnna Devasier, all of Troy, and Pam Haines of Kenton; four grandchildren; Jimmy Dale Mathenia of Memphis and Brandon Hatt, Gina Hatt and Emma Catherine Jackson, all of Troy; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Carol, Shirley and Norma Rae.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Milton Jackson.
