Charles Stribling
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Terry Bailey, Brother Tommy Hall, Brother Glenn Burkes and Sierra Holloway will officiate. Burial will follow in Sanders Chapel Cemetery near Union City.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Stribling, Steven Stribling, Bo Hawk Stribling, Billy Goodman, Lee Holloway and Jimmy Schmidt. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and members of the official church board of Sidonia Assembly of God.
Mr. Stribling was born Sept. 13, 1939, in Dyer County, son of the late Charlie Andrew and Olive Louise (Moody) Stribling. He married the former Bonnie Lucille Forbus Jan. 16, 1959. She died Aug. 18, 2012. He then married the former Mary Cathy Miles April 11, 2015. She survives. He was the pastor of Sidonia Assembly of God.
He is also survived by five sons and daughters-in law, Bo and Sissy Stribling of Slidell, La., Alfred and Sherry Stribling of Union City, Alan and Amy Stribling of Trevose, Pa., Christopher Falkner of Texas and Jimmy Falkner of Alaska; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
