Jim Perry

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with burial following there in Terrace Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He was born March 23, 1940, in Pickens County, Ga., son of the late Wallace and Mary (McElroy) Perry. He married the former Carol Johnson Nov. 14, 1980. She survives. He was a cost estimator for Georgia Marble Co. and had been a captain in the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the U.S. Air Force.
He is also survived by two sons, Anthony Perry of Memphis and Eli Payne of Troy; his daughter, Helen Powers of Blue Ridge, Ga.; and 10 grandchildren, Andrea Perry, Vanessa Perry, Anna Perry, Ashelin Payne, Ryker Payne, Kahlil Perry, Danielle King, Tyler King, Brianna Ellis and Alissa Pickard.
