David Thompson

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Terry English officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Emmons, Tom Papszycki, Bob Cathey, Ernie Siglow, Chad Thompson and Jeff Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Bennett, Randall Screen, Josh Screen, Luke Screen and Chuck Jones.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
He was born Nov. 25, 1951, in Paris, son of the late Albert and Early May (Dunn) Thompson. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator for more than 30 years. He attended Central Union United Methodist Church in Rives.
He is survived by his loving companion of 22 years, Lora Bennett of Rives; his brother, Tommy Thompson of Paris; two cousins, Jeff Thompson and Chad Thompson, both of Paris; and his caregiver, Pamela Screen of Rives.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Travis Thompson; his sister, Darlene Thompson; and his brother, Danny Thompson.
