Danny Goodlett

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the family plot at his residence. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Kennedy, Kevin Lee, Rusty Smith, Taylor Hopper, Dalton Hayes and Tyler Hopper.
He was born Jan. 25, 1948, in Lake County, son of the late James Goodlett and of Nadine (Ogden) Goodlett Smith of Dyersburg. He married the former Mary Leona Rice May 19, 1966. She survives. He had been employed at Colonial Rubber in Dyersburg and had retired from the Union City Kohler plant after 22 years.
He was a Baptist and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melissia Leann and Tim Stockdale of Shawtown; his son, Keith Goodlett, and his fiancée, Deanna Petty, of Shawtown; two granddaughters, Sarah Stockdale and Crystal Semple; three grandsons, Stephen Goodlett, Josh Goodlett and Trey Goodlett; three great-grandchildren, Jaivyn Stockdale, Jaicye McClure and Bryleigh Goodlett; and his dog and best friend, Joe.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
