Larry Anderson

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Obion First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Brian Stahl officiating, assisted by the Rev. John Carroll. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Obion.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Anderson, Shane Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Jack Anderson, Ben Anderson and Garrett Anderson.
He was born March 24, 1943, in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was the son of the late Calvin Anderson and the late Ruby (Tartt) Anderson. He was raised by the late James L. and Juanita (Anderson) Jenkins, whom he considered his parents.
He was an area maintenance manager for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Union City and was a member of the Tennessee National Guard for six years. He was a member of Obion First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Paige Anderson of Obion; three sons and his daughter-in-law, Hunter Anderson of Dyersburg, Shane Anderson of Obion and Kyle and Shelly Anderson of Woodbury; three brothers and their wives, Carlton and Joyce Jenkins of Decatur, Ala., and Eunice and Debby Jenkins and Ricky and Donna Jenkins, all of Ripley; five grandchildren, Jack, Ben and Olivia Anderson, all of Obion, and Garrett and Kyla Anderson of Woodbury; and a great-grandchild, Eden Young of Obion.
