Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Pentecostal Church in Union City.
Brother Billy Uzzle will officiate.
Visitation will be held at First Pentecostal Church from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Lucille was born Oct. 3, 1944, in Hickman, daughter of the late Willie Elijah and Eva Elizabeth (Burgess) Bates. She was the widow of Carvell Collins. Lucille was a homemaker and a member of First Pentecostal Church in Union City. She loved Jesus and enjoyed reading her Bible.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Collins of Clinton, Ky.; her son, James Collins of Mayfield; four brothers, Gilliam Bates of Dyersburg, Wesley Bates and wife, Kathy, of Houston, Ricky Bates of Fulton and Ira Bates of Union City; and her sister-in-law, Darlene Bates of Central City, Ky.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Willie Lloyd Bates.
