Kathleen Winston

Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Fremont Cemetery near Union City.
Pallbearers will be Barri O’Shields, Alex O’Shields, Colby Bruner, Roy Winston Jr., Todd Winston and Zach Crews.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until time to leave for the cemetery Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
She was born Nov. 19, 1922, in Bald Knob, Ark., to Wes and Oma (Horton) Little, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 78 years, J.W. Winston.
They were married April 25, 1938, in Bald Knob. They had two sons who survive, along with their spouses: Dr. Roy and Dorothy Winston of Reelfoot Lake and Larry and Shirley Winston of McCrory, Ark.
Other survivors include four grandchildren, Autumn Garrigus and her husband, Clifton, of Union City; Roy Winston Jr. and his wife, Michelle, of Murray, Ky.; Tami O’Shields and her husband, Barri, of McCrory; and Todd Winston and his wife, Erin, of Lexington, Ky.
She had eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Lakeview Church of Christ at Reelfoot Lake. When she was in good health, she enjoyed gardening, cooking for family and clothes shopping. She loved crossword puzzles and had a very impressive knowledge of the Bible. She was able to say the ABCs backwards faster than most can recite it forwards.
Mrs. Winston was preceded in death by her oldest grandchild, Roger Winston; and her two sisters and brother.
