Kay Meeks

Funeral services for Mrs. Meeks will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Kenton Church of God, with Bro. Dennis Cleek officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton.
She was born Aug. 14, 1952, in Union City, daughter of Mac and Ruth (Watkins) Crowell. She retired, after 20-plus years as a nurse, with Gibson General Hospital and was a member of Kenton Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Meeks; her child, Lee Meeks (Amanda); two stepchildren, Kimberly Baker and Lorie Meeks; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Wayne Crowell.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at Kenton Church of God.
