Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Troy United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Judd Mowery and Phillip Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the hour of services at the church.
White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to Troy United Methodist Church Emergency Fund.
Pallbearers will be Brix Maunder, Tanner Maunder, Jason Matherly, Mark Allen and Brad Maunder. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Wilder, David Johnson, Ed Eller and Buddy Wirt.
Mrs. Prather was born July 22, 1923, in Eaton, Colo., daughter of the late Fred and Ruby (Caldwell) Stargrant. She married Elmer Prather May 22, 1943. He passed away in July 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of Troy United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jonnie and Brad Maunder of Troy; her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Connie Prather of Troy; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Allen, Jessica Matherly, Jill Kelly, Julie Young, Brix Maunder, Tanner Maunder, Piper Maunder and Morgan Maunder; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Louise Prather; two sisters; and three brothers.
