Smoking Joe Frazier

He was born May 25, 1946, in Hoh-enwald, the second oldest of nine children. He was a retiree of the former Goodyear  Tire & Rubber Co. after more than 30 years of employment.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.A. and Inez Frazier of Lake County; and his brother, Phillip Michael Frazier.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (O’Connor) Frazier of Union City; his daughters and son-in-law, Shannon (Frazier) Norton and Jenny (Frazier) and Craig Lucy, all of Union City; three grandchildren and the spouse of one, Christen Frazier, Brittney and Chris Turnbow and Hunter Lucy, all of Union City; and three great-grandchildren, Sofie Otts, Kylie Turnbow and Khloe Turnbow, all of Union City; six brothers and two sisters-in-law, Wayne and Betty Frazier of Goodsprings, Larry Frazier of South Fulton, Randall Frazier of Newbern, Mark and Deliah Frazier of Bagota, Keith Frazier of Hohenwald and Donnie Frazier of Somerville; and his sister and brother-in-law, Brenda (Frazier) and Dal Henry of McKenzie.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Melvin Poe and W.D. McCollum officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope or Calvary Baptist Church’s building fund.
