Lee Simmons

He was a former resident of Obion County.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother J.R. Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in Hornbeak City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 1  a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Troy Forrest, Jeremiah Johnson, John Wright, Lee Baggett, Blake Forrest and Forrest His Bluehorse.
Lee was born Nov. 5, 1969, in Denver, son of the late Leo Conrad His Bluehorse and Myrna (Whitehawk) His Blue-horse. He married the former Cindy Ray Webb in 1991. She died Oct. 10, 2012. Lee was a construction worker and was a member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Indian Tribe out of Rosebud, S.D.
He is survived by his daughter and her fiancé; Sabrina (John Wright) Simmons of Union City; his grandson, Phoenix Simmons of Union City; his grandchild to be, Baby Wright; two sisters, Michelle Golightly of Wingo, Ky., and Jan Thornton of Union City; two brothers, Forrest His Bluehorse of Rapid City, S.D., and Troy Forrest of Troy; his aunt, Ilene Hutchison of Hornbeak; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his adopted parents, Raymond and Frances Simmons; his sister, Connie Bluehorse; and his brother, Leo “Guy” Forrest.
