Frances Ann Weeks

Frances Ann Weeks died at her home in Hendersonville, TN on August 4, 2016.
Fran graduated from Union City High School in 1960. She attended Freed-Hardeman College and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Lipscomb University. Shortly thereafter, she completed a Masters in Education degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Fran retired from the Metropolitan Nashville School System after a distinguished teaching career. Awards included MNEA Teacher of the Year.
She was the daughter of Sam and Virginia Weeks who preceded her in death.
She leaves two brothers, Richard (Lyndell) from Nashville, TN and David from Florida. In addition, she leaves a niece, Dr. Whitney Burton (Brian) and a nephew, J.Dan Weeks (Amanda) from Chattanooga, TN.
Services will be held at White-Ranson Funeral Home chapel at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Charles Baugh and Lonnie Grady will officiate.
The family will receive visitors beginning at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Burial will follow immediately at Memorial Gardens cemetery.
