Fred McCord

A memorial service is planned for Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Episcopal Church in St. Louis.
The family requests that memorials be made to Bethesda Hospice, 1630 Des Peres Road, Suite 200, St. Louis, MO 63131.
He was born July 9, 1950, in Sikeston, Mo., to the late Grace Cochran and the late Maurice Warren. His adoptive parents were the late Ellis and Burline McCord of Union City.
He is survived by his sons, Fred “C.J.” McCord Jr. of Union City and Warren “Craig” McCord of Rives and Jerry Ahillen of St. Louis; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to both sets of parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
