Larry Cagle

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Henry Callison and Brother Dustin Cunningham will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman (Ky.) City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Austin Goodman, Jacob Goodman, Sam Linder, Patrick Linder, Ben Goodman, Lucas Goodman, Clay Goodman and Eddie Edwards.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center, 1530 Lone Oak Road, Paducah, KY 42003.
Larry was born Jan. 13, 1953, in Union City, son of Betty Louise (Cole) Cagle of Hickman, Ky., and the late J.C. Cagle. He married the former Chonnette Goodman Aug. 2, 1974. She survives. Larry had been employed at the former Sigri Carbon in Hickman, had been employed with his father in the former Cagle’s Union City Plumbing and was employed as a pipe fitter for the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City. He had also worked as an international pipe fitter for Goodyear in its plants in China and Chile. Larry was a member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton, had served in the U.S. Army and was a Mason at the Hickman and Clinton Masonic lodges.
He is also survived by his two children, Adam Lee Cagle (Julie) of Clinton and Shonda Cagle Ervin (Allan) of Columbia; and four grandchildren, Courtney Cagle, Ryker Cagle, Shooter Ervin and Levi Ervin.
He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Chrysteen Goodman.
