Carl McMillin
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Elder Steve Gardner and Pastor Chuck Kiley will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.
Pallbearers will be George Frost, Edward Morris, Kevin Scott, Devin Scott, Chris McMillin and Josh Pritchard.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
Carl was born Aug. 31, 1966, in Union City, son of Ida B. (Taylor) McMillin of South Fulton and the late James H. “Buddy” McMillin. He married the former Laurie Myers Nov. 25, 2005. She survives. Carl had been employed in the river boat industry with ACBL Towing and Inland Marine Towing. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He is also survived by his daughter, Sabrina Skye McMillin of Paducah, Ky.; his son, Trestin Lee Joyner-McMillin of Kenton; his stepdaughter, Sarah (Eddie) Haynes of Paducah; his stepson, Allen (Laura) Poole of Clinton, Ky.; two sisters, Linda Carol Powell of Union City and Brenda Faye (Barry) Scott of South Fulton; his brother, James David (Brenda) McMillin of South Fulton; and four grandchildren, William Howard “Bo” Downey, Autumn Haynes and William Haynes, all of Paducah, and Lillian Nova Poole of Clinton.
