Carol Henderson

Funeral services for Mrs. Henderson will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Union City Second Baptist Church. Officiating this service will be the Rev. Justin Hiens. Interment will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for Mrs. Henderson will be Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Wednesday, Sept. 17, 1947, in Chicago, daughter of the late Albert Ernest Leroy McLaughlin and the late Ruth Helen (Justes) McLaughlin. She was a former dispatcher/security guard with Loss Prevention and attended Union City Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Wayne McLaughlin of Troy; three stepsons, Dennis Henderson, Billy Henderson and David Henderson, all of Illinois; two daughters, Cassandra Zawadzki and Wanda Duren, both of Troy; two stepdaughters, Rovean (Henderson) Avila and Linda Espinoza, both of Illinois; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Damon Henderson, and several grandchildren.
