Maurine Woodruff

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, with the Rev. Larry Washburn officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Woodruff was a member of Martin First Baptist Church and was a retired beautician. She was a graduate of the former Martin High School.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Jo Woodruff of Los Angeles; two sons, Russell “Tootie” (Carol) Abernathy and Randy (Claudette) Abernathy, all of Union City; her stepson, Lamar (Judy) Woodruff of Memphis; her grandson, Shane (Kaley) Abernathy of Knoxville; her great-grandson, Finn Charles Abernathy; and two step-grandchildren, Lorrie Woodruff and Joey Woodruff.
Mrs. Woodruff was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Woodruff; and her parents, Royce Lee and Mary Shelly Bell.
