Arnold Hargrove

Mr. Hargrove was a retired IBEW union electrician. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army on active duty from March 1953 until March 1955. He was a member of church of Christ. He enjoyed talking to and helping others, encouraging his kids and grandkids, working on motorcycles and cars, hiking, camping, fishing and anything to do with being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Kate (Ridge) Hargrove of Adamsville; two daughters, Sherry Thomas and husband Donald of Adamsville and Kathy Jo Hargrove of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sons, Arnold Keith Hargrove and wife Heather of Key Largo, Fla., Kenneth Hargrove and wife Tamara of Gilberts, Ill.; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson; three brothers, Jerry Hargrove, David Hargrove and Richard Hargrove Jr.; along with a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hargrove was preceded in death by his sister, Katie Joyce Guess.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville. Burial will follow in the Adamsville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
