Milford Morton

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with interment following in Fremont Cemetery on Highway 22 near Union City.
Visitation will begin at noon Sunday and continue until the service hour. Following his interment, family and friends will gather at Faith Lutheran Church in Union City on East Reelfoot Avenue.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Jan. 25, 1931, in Walnut Log, son of the late Howard and Clara (Spicer) Morton. He was a retired employee of Illinois Central Railroad in Memphis and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mable Sue (Ohler) Morton; two sons and the spouse of one, David and Sherry Morton of Arlington and Mark Morton of Union City; two daughters and the spouse of one, Shelby Morton of Benton, Ark., and Abby and Phillip Dunnam of Hattiesburg, Miss.; 16 grandchildren, Christy Edney, Calista Dillard, Matthew Morton, Joseph Morton, Lynn Morton, Christopher Morton, Laura Bennett, Jeffrey Morton, Jeremy Morton, Heather Morton, Kimberly Reynolds, Myranda Morton, Kaila Lofton, Cayce Shepard, Peyton Dunnam and Bryce Dunnam; and 17 great-grandchildren, Victoria Little, Sebastian Edney, Cameron Carter, Christopher Morton, Julianne Edney, Dayton Reynolds, Cameron Morton, Elizabeth Dillard, Taylor Bennett, Landon Morton, Joseph “JT” Morton, MacKenzie Reynolds, Noah Morton, Layla Hill, Michael Dillard, Ava Reynolds and Lorelai Morton.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Alan Morton; three sisters, Annie Lou McQueen, Flossie Carter and Evelyn Epperson; two sons, Ronnie Morton and Joseph Morton; and his daughter, Donna Morton.
