Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with burial following in Zion Cemetery near Obion. Rick Knoll will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Smith, Steve Smith, Peyton  Lyons, Ethan Lyons, Sam Tyler and Patrick Tyler.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 6-8.
The family requests memorials be made to Zion Cemetery, in care of Greg Ervin, 4851 Jim Carver Road, Obion, TN 38240.
She was born in Obion County Sept. 24, 1924, daughter of the late George Thomas and Bertha (Beeler) Yates. She married Edward Martin Tyler in 1944 and they were married 57 years. He preceded her in death Aug. 24, 2001. Mrs. Tyler was a homemaker and a member of Oak Ridge Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son  and daughter-in-law, Gerald Neil and Chris Tyler of Brentwood; three daughters and sons-in-law, Adeline and Danny Smith of Hornbeak, Donna and Ray Jenkins of Greenbrier and Kay Tyler and John Kilbourne of Nashville; two sisters, Mary (Yates) Cutler and Irene (Yates) Cutler, both of Obion; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, J.P. Yates; and her sister, Margaret Sellers.
