John Wherry

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. Archie Larry officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Church Cemetery near Union City.
Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Cross, Bobby Lucas, Lance Reynolds, Gary Walker, Eric Island and James Brown.
He was born Sept. 18, 1973, in Dyersburg, son of the late John Paul and Merry (Tolley) Wherry. He was an employee of the ethanol plant in Obion and was a member of the Obion city council.
He is survived by his wife, Amy (Brown) Wherry; two sons, Hunter Wherry of Union City and Cash Wherry of Obion; and his daughter, Merry Allison Wherry of Obion.
