Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eric Burress officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
He was born March 17, 1948, in St. Louis, son of the late Walter Flowers Sr. and Jean (Smith) Flowers of California. He married the former Marianna Rey April 6, 2001. She survives. He was a retired self-employed mechanic and car salesman for more than 20 years and was a Baptist.
He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Julia and Michael Southerland of Union City; two stepdaughters, Sandy Marie Breeden of Hickman, Ky., and Misty Dawn Barker of Lexington, Ky.; his grandson, Ryan Southerland of Union City; four step-grandchildren, Cameron Hayes of Lexington, Ky., Brandon Smith of Hickman and Destiny Ahart and Patience Ahart, both of Murray, Ky.; two sisters, Linda Dover and Terry Garcia; and two brothers, Donny Flowers and Brett Flowers.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Flowers; and two brothers, Wayne Flowers and Ronny Flowers.
